Hyphae provided living wall and recirculating water systems design and engineering for an indoor living wall. Our client shared an interest gaining creating an alcove beside the building entry
and below floating steps to form the sense of a natural rain forest through visuals and sound. This design utilizes two supply and drainage trains, one for fertlized irrigation to the vegetated wall and second to a recirculating fountain and infinity edge overflow. We provided drawings, calculations, and specifications for the terraced water flow to maintian enough pressure and volume for the fountain to function while reducing electrical loads.
