After Bobby presented to LSU Landscape Architecture Department, Between Land & Water wrote a nice article about hyphae. We’ve got some interesting collaborations brewing and will keep you posted.

We were thankful to work with Spurlock Poirier, the landscape architect for the project, on the design and engineering of the living roof and in helping to convince the UC to install a greywater recycling system. Congratulations to Kieran Timberlake

So its now officially  been discplosed  we’re working with our great friends at Habitat Horticulture and the Snohetta led team on a living wall for the moma expansion.

The Hyphae Design Lab is a small, fun design and project management firm specializing in living systems and architecture. We are designing and building rainwater harvesting and graywater systems in the bay area, as well as consulting on living roofs, [...]

A first for Berkeley!

After 4 months,
3 sets of revisions,
a 5 page set of highly detailed plans,
a 100+ page spec book
and some praying….
we finally got a permit for the first residential indoor reuse of rainwater, Berkeley and Alameda County!
Now Kerby and Graham, are hard at work, on-site to get the system installed.
